INFORMAL CAMPING
Informal Camping involves staying overnight in a campervan outside a formal campsite. Please ensure you are in a discrete location that is not private property, ideally out of sight of residential houses.
Keys should be tucked away and kept out of sight.
Alcohol consumption is not recommended.
The Confederation of Fire Protection Associations in Europe (CFPAE) recommends 1) a minimum of 4m space between campervans and 2) a 6m gap between residential park homes and some camping sites to help prevent the spread of fire.
Use only biodegradable detergents.
Do not stop in a designated passing place.
Fully extinguish BBQs or fires when you're done, and leave no evidence behind.
